碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === This research is based on the policy of worldwide top academic performance for universities in Taiwan, which is designed to promote universities of Taiwan in the global ranking. Data is obtained from the National Audit Office. This study employs the Data Envelopment Analysis（DEA） model and Malmquist index to investigate the efficiency of the academic performance for universities in this program in Taiwan. Results indicate that input of funds and scholar researchers is a necessary factor to enhance the academic performance, however, they have been wasting incidents in implementing the policy. Therefore, the universities of wasting incidents must improve the efficiency in executing the resources. Finally, this study concludes that the policy for academic performance of worldwide top universities is worthwhile to implement in the long run, but the resource allocation must be nationwide comprehensive.
