analysis, the article demonstrates that the New York Times presented more viewpoints of sources on the issue of COP 15 and global Climate Change than People’s Daily. Furthermore, the New York Times delved more in the scientific evidence of global
climate change while People’s Daily focused more on international relations. These findings show that different news regimes and cultures might have impacted the direction of their media coverage.
