Claude Debussy, influenced by Impressionism and Symbolism during his life, created music of a unique quality.
The piano work “Images” is one of his most satisfying works. This objective of the research is to summarize the backgroung and gives an introduction to the structure of it composition. As for the playing techniques, the researcher is going to study the melody, and special rhythms among each movement thoroughly in order to interpret the vivid spirits in Debussy’s “Images”.
