Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所 === 100 === The objective of this study is to organize a variety of relevant articles about performance appraisals and customize the listed performance assessment variables to be better fit for Company VH - manufacturing industry type. First of all, a professionally designed survey will be used as a qualitative tool to select the variables that are good for a manufacturing company to use. Most importantly, this paper aims to integrate the theory of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to build up a performance appraisal system specifically for production department. A survey constructed upon AHP format will be distributed at Company A to collect the relative weighting of performance variables across production departmental level. The results are to determine overall performance ranking of production department. Last, IPA is applied through internal survey across staffs and production workers to determine which variables are important when doing assessment. Based upon the output of AHP/ IPA surveys, management of Company VH would be able to do performance appraisals in a fair manner.
