Using change temperature process to fabricate different index profile of short-pass edge filter. The index profile dispersion from the refractive index difference between fiber core and cladding changes with wavelength. That is, the boundary of fiber cladding and core is clearly. However, the fiber core will diffuse in tapered process, and influence cutoff slope. We use changing flame temperature process to produce short pass edge filter with different index profile.
