Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 國際高階經營管理碩士在職專班(IEMBA) === 100 === Upon the tight competition and uncertain environment dynamics, modern business models differ increasingly from the traditional ones. In addition, with the impact of the increase of organization size and the new management thinking mode, managing information has become one of the most important issue that modern organizations have to deal with. However, less attention has been paid to the influences of information system (IS) on the organization management. They may be the information quality, system quality, and service quality. This thesis conducts a case study that investigates the supporting quality of information systems on case company management. Research findings are used to improve the use of information system for case company, and the similar organizations as well. Results are obtained showing that (1) both reliability and responsibility of the ISs are acceptable; (2) information contents are generally regarded as useful for the job needs. However, the depth of the information still remains row data, instead of information that is transferred from the row data, and in consequence less decision supportive; (3) Users do not accept the designed processes of using the ISs and response speed. The IS load is usually too heavy to maintain stable. The study suggests that case company should find solutions to overcome the abovementioned issues to improve their IS performance.
