The investigated is divided into two stages: The first, to find the optimum content of ultra-fine cement through the evaluation of compressive strength, workability and volume stability of paste and mortar with six substitution range (0% ~ 50%). The result shows that 10% substitute ultrafine cement has better compressive strength, low temperature and less crack formation than others. The second fixed 10% ultrafine cement substitution from the first stage and design high performance concrete by DMDA method using Fuller’s idea curve with three different powder series, three water-to-binder ratio (w/b) and three paste thickness (t) to explore the effect of adding ultrafine cement on the performance of high performance concrete.
