Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 100 === In LED light module, it consists of reflectors and lens. But in general, the design of the reflectors or lens is based on assuming the LED to be a point source with Lambertian distribution. It didn’t consider the near-field optical properties when the reflector or lens of LED was designed. Due to popularity of multiple chip LED fabricated in chip-on-board(COB), this is no longer treated as a Lambertian light source and the near-field intensity distribution should be considered. In this study, the luminous intensity distribution of a single LED is modeled as a point source shifting vertically from the center of the LED. The near-field luminous intensity distribution of an LED can be obtained by this LED model. Furthermore, this single LED model is extended to multi-LED model easily. A street lamp with multi-LED COB is tested. The near-field luminous intensity distribution is measured and is found to be close to the distribution obtained by the optical simulation software, which is quite different from the one obtained by Lambertian model.
