The mind is moved by it, just like endless changing form of cloud and fog which are followed by the mind and go up to the transcend state. Ton Chih Thang said: "The transcendent of the painter is all involved in the endless changing of the cloud and fog." The cloud and fog in the nature environment are coming for the coming place and going to the going place, thousands of miles just like a moment. At the "empty mind" where you can broad limitless vast space, so I would like to use "go and stay without mind" as a title to investigate the Zen in Chinese painting by cloud and fog scenes. During the creative stage, I concentrate on "observing the cloud", "purchasing the cloud", till "drawing the cloud", let my mind jump into the vast changing. At the now moment I immediately fell "cloud and fog is me and me is cloud and fog, object and me are union, me and sky become harmonic, then the beauty of sky and earth generate in my mind, everything is matched so excellently!" The target of creativity is "cloud steaming up, fog becoming rich; spirit and mood flying; all the beauties going together; boundless excellent coming here; no action and no form; with love and with faith; all gathered praising the nature; the god and human become one." With these I encourage myself. The content of creativity is respecting the nature as teacher. And combine the conventional and modern to investigate the cloud and fog state of Chinese painting. The frameworks are: First chapter is the introduction to explain these researches motivation, purpose, content, covered range and methods. Chapter two is the general description of the cloud forming steps in nature environment, cloud classification, and its relation with the weather and light shadowing. The third chapter is the artistic thoughts of cloud and fog painting which investigate the beauty of cloud and fog. From "go and stay without mind" point of view it studies Chinese water-ink painting of cloud and fog, introducing the Zen into the painting, let the scenes become a mood. Chapter four is studying how the traditional Chinese water-ink paintings express the cloud and fog. They include the painting history of cloud and fog arts, its content and its techniques. Chapter five treats the nature as a teacher and creates the water-ink painting. Describe the ideas of creations, its content and style, and analysis the results and feeling from these creations. Chapter six is the conclusion. Expecting to keep continuously put effort on the creation of cloud and fog painting with a nature mind to purchase the goal of "beauty only, utmost goodness".
