The result of this research is integrated with the issue of “Rhythm” to develop a series of computer graphic art works. The content of this dissertation is divided into five chapters, which include: (1) Introduction (2) Discussion of literature (3) Concept of creation (4) Presentation of art work (5) Conclusion. First, the target of the research is defined in the chapter of introduction. Then through out the second chapter, the history and the development of Optical Art are discussed, followed by the analysis of art works to understand the techniques and elements of Optical Art. This part of the research helps establish the visual form of the art works created and presented in this dissertation. The concept of the creation “Rhythm” is to discuss the elements which lead to visual movement in still Optical Art works. The art works are completed by computer graphics, using Moire Patterns to create vibrating pictures which consist of the change of space between lines and different shapes of flowing patterns composed by overlapping lines to present visual movement. 宋璽德 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 91 zh-TW
