Choreographers usually transmit their ideas to spectators using body language of performers instead of speaking in the art of dancing. Performers infuse the idea of a creation into their body language and facial expression by the processes of working with choreographers and empirical projection, as well as corrections by repeated rehearsal. The issue discussed in this study, 《Through The Window》,is a creation co-created by the author and Bo-Ling Pan for their graduation performance in the Institute of Dance of National Taiwan University of Arts. A window is a medium of interior and exterior, furthermore, a metaphor of being throughout between self, others, and space.

The topics include couple dance “Whisper” and solo dance “Room-Chair”, the self-annotation of dancers’ experience was used as the primary, as well as Existentialism and the theories of role annotation on performing arts were used to support the review, analysis, and arrangement for the procedure of the creation.
