We propose iReach, which uses the accelerometer to sense motion gestures of the device-holding hand. We propose three UI layout change manners that make distant targets reachable: Screen-Shifting, Scaling-Down and Sector-alignment. After detecting the motion gesture of holding hand, one of the UI layout change is triggered. Through a pilot study, we compare those UI layout change manner. Participants performed target-selection tasks using small (4.3-inch display) and large (5.3-inch display) mobile phones. Our results show that Sector-Shaped Aligning is preferred by users when using large-screen smartphones. Yi-Ping Hung 洪一平 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 41 en_US |
