In this study,we use literature analysis to establish the theoretical basis of Taitung City residents of the community to understand the satisfaction and well-being of the situation.We also made the random sampling of Taitung City residents for the range of 10.The research tool is the "downtown Taitung residents of the community satisfaction and Well-being questionnaire". Using descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, one-way analysis of variance, multiple regression analysis and other statistical method. The results of this study found that: 1.The Taitung City residents’feelings of community satisfaction is moderate .The neighborhood is the best. 2.Taitung City residents’feelings of well-being is to a higher level. 3.Different age, marital status, education level and residents living in the local time have a significant difference in the community satisfaction. there was no significant difference in different gender, occupation, average monthly personal income of residents in the community satisfaction. 4.Different age, marital status, education level and residents living in the local time have a significant difference in the well-being. there was no significant difference in different gender, occupation, average monthly personal income of residents in the well-being. 5.Community satisfaction has a positive relationship to well-being.
