Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 100 === The research is based on the phenomenon of “republish the old published” on the picture books market from 2005 to 2010 in Taiwan. After reedit the stories, drawing, and rebinding, those books are totally different from pervious revision and republish again.
Using the examples as Cao Jun-yan, Lai Ma, Chinlun Lee, and Bei Lynn’s works, I realized that the strategy of “new version” by interview with Cao Jun-yan, Chinlun Lee, and Bei Lynn.
From the interview shows that each writer has his rules and limits of the pictures, stories, and books based on his concept. Writer’s idea and process of redesign and reform have a deep effect on the success of republish.
I’ve tried to interpret “the writer’s thinking path” by observing the differences between two versions. I also discussed the connection of form and story from design, form, and story.
