Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 100 === This study aimed to explore the impact of the dormitory life of Little League Baseball players on the players’ original families and life adjustment. Additionally, through the reflections of the teacher, the baseball family’s management processes were found. The qualitative case study method was adopted as the research method to gain an insight into the research issues. Seven players of Little League Baseball were adopted as the study subjects. Through data collection methods such as observations, interviews, photographs, and videos, the significance of the related data was analyzed. The results show that the baseball family meant more than a lifeless dormitory space; it also covered the players’ recognition for the family and regarded the teachers and students they lived with as family members. The dormitory-type Little League players’ overall life adjustment was good. They understood their academic achievement and baseball skills were equally important. Their recognition of the role of the teacher and coach was consistent and they managed to develop mutual assistance in daily life, as well as the self-perception ability. The schools’ dormitory environment improvement was conducive to the dormitory players’ recognition for the baseball family, while the teacher’s enthusiasm was the key to the creation of the baseball family.
