Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 犯罪學研究所 === 100 === Rarely do people in Taiwan mentioned the connection of friendship group and moral development among adolescents, and most researches indicates that friendship group will strengthen their action significantly, so do the gender, age, intelligent, and residency for moral development of theirs. However, there are not sufficient researches by far to support the relation between their friendship group and moral development.
The research below applied to Sociomoral Reflection Measure-Short Form (SRM-SF) of Gibbs simultaneously with tactics which experimenters nominate their friend at 8th grade students in two Tainan schools, which are composes of 82 males and 69 females in gender, 119 urbanites and 32 suburbanites in residency, 14 to 15 in age. The research shows that the moral development of most 8th grade students concerntrates on the transition stage between level 2 & 3, and none in stage 1 & 4. Furtherwise, the result of compared with any factors could be seen below: the first is about the gender, with checking the persantage of moral development stage among sexes, we could see that the females occupies more proportion than males in higher stage, but no significant diversity with the Chi-squaretest (χ2 (4, N=151)=9.04, p>.05); and the second is on the residency, there is no remarkable difference between town and country in their SRM score (t=-.674, p>.05); to the third is about the school work, the group of better studies shows notable divergebce in their high SRM score(F=3.547, p<.005).
The research operates the path analysis to analyze the effect of friendship group upon moral development, and it shows that the direct effect of no opposite sexes in friendship group is 0.6, 0.34 in indirecet effect and 0.94 in totall, which we could conclude that the higher female in friendship group, the less variation in moral development of friendship group, the higher in personal moral development degree.
