Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數位科技設計學系(含玩具與遊戲設計碩士班) === 100 === The purpose of this study was to apply and analyze gross motor play equipment for children by the perspectives of universal design. This study also investigated children’s performance of stability motor skills in different groups by the same assessment after 6-week physical activities designed on the perspectives of universal design. Additionally, the equipment would be judged by the principle of universal design. The results showed the performance of stability motor skills of participants were enhanced regardless of age, gender and special needs and also indicated that the physical activities designed with universal design principles. Besides the quality and quantity of stability motor skills were both improved in 4-year-old children group, the quality part of stability motor skills was improved in 5-year-old children group. The equipment using by the study was consistent to the fit in the principles of universal design which was evaluated by the product performance program assessment. According to the results of the study, there were some suggestions as followings. The norm of young children’s stability gross motor could be developed for evaluation in the future study. Also, the teachers could apply the principles of universal design service on curriculum design to meet children’s different abilities Finally, the results could provide play equipment designers to develop more products with universal design principles.
