A Study on Design of the Outdoors Public Playground : A Case Study for the Taipei Area

碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 數位科技設計學系(含玩具與遊戲設計碩士班) === 100 === Outdoor public playground is one of the "Urban Planning Act" items for district plan, Owing to inadequate comprehensive understanding in urban space for end user’s requirements, which caused outdoor public playground couldn’t in line with demand practically for planning; designing and reviewing. This study is aim at investigating the requirement of public –site outdoor playground designing and planning .Moreover compared the relationship for populations of parents as a demographic variables requested for the difference of outdoor public playground designing and planning between different lifestyle requested for the public and outdoor playground designing and planning. The questionnaire for parents’ population of 9 elementary schools located at the greater Taipei area (Taipei City, New Taipei City and Keelung City) as demographic variables, lifestyle, and the requirement of outdoor public playground designing and planning. 500 questionnaires in total were sent out; 463 questionnaires were recovered, 427 valid questionnaires, the effective recovery ratio was 92.22%. The data was analyzed via SPSS of windows 12.0 version statistic methods and calculated by T-test, one-way ANOVA analysis and multiple regression analysis for data interpretation. The results of this study are as follows: 1. By through of the grounded theory, factor analysis, that summarized six public outdoor playground designing and planning of demand, named “operational”, “entertaining”, “protected”, “normative”, “interpersonal”, and “individual”. 2. Demographic variables on the outdoor playground designing and planning of public demand: Female in the "operational", "interpersonal " and "individual " are significantly higher than the male; From the view point of occupation and salary in the "normative "there are significant differences in demanding, For the occupational variables ( Housekeeping) group greater than military and government groups, Regarding to salary variables ; salary income below NT$ 20,000 group greater than salary income NT$ 20,000 to NT$ 30,000. 3. From the regression analysis that different lifestyle groups, for both public outdoor playgrounds, there are different designing and planning requirements. This study is outdoor public playground designing and planning requirement analysis, Hope to provide to related government division as reference, and Hence be able to achieve the purpose of its construction and establishment, the functionality are more in line with people's requirements.
