碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 100 === Abstract "Mom got angry! She became a monster!" Just a small thing, to the little kid's surprise, made Mom very very angry. She became like a monster. How unbelievable her anger was! What should they do? What happened in the end of the story? "An Angry Monster" is the name of my first animation. All pictures were drawn by hand. It's about some special happenings in a family. All the members in the family look very strange. The mother gets angry easily. The father has an enormous ego. Moreover, there's a little kid in the family. The story is about the conflicts among them. Yet, it's funny. "An Angry Monster" is inspired from my daily life. Being married, I play the roles of a mother and wife. The life I want is very different from what other people expect me to have. I often have to switch myself between the two. The conflicts and the integration of the two aroused my motives for writing a story. I hope this video animation can also arouse the audience's concern and encouragement towards women. I try to present what I have learned and reflected in the aspect of creation through this hand-drawn animation. Different kinds of art and diversified applications I have learned since my childhood are integrated into this work. My feelings about creation are shown in it as well. First, I had some ideas and meditated on them. Then, I drafted the animation. Thirdly, I drew the pictures. In the end, I used the computer media. For me, animation is a totally new field. This is why I can create in a very special point of view. Since this is my first time to learn and deal with video animation, I am still not very good at it. However, the possibility and development are infinite for me in the future.
