碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術與造形設計學系碩士班 === 100 === Abstract 1995, Japan SF anime《Neon Genesis Evangelion》published on screen by TV Tokyo Network.It made a big issue during the tough time of Japan,called “third anime boom”.After Japan, 《Neon Genesis Evangelion》even popular around the world,everyone tried to appropriation or made a mimicry about this theme.In my thesis,I will try to show the processs about the self-image construction by phyco-analysis using in image-analysis. First,I will make a connect about this text with other Japan SF anime and Japan Takusatsu films,to clear up their relationship.Then,I will make a reference about 《Neon Genesis Evangelion》.Finally,into the text,I will use phyco-analysis to make a discourse about the making of self-image in this text,to show the character’s journey and what will they become in the end of this anime.Also,we must to concern the culture,the history,the time when the anime be made and published.They are all connected together. Just like a puzzle,following the title of thesis ”Mythical Youth In A Mirror”,I will deconstruct and reconstruct a new text about the how to construct a self-image in《Neon Genesis Evangelion》.
