Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 台灣文化研究所 === 100 === The Implementation of the First Taiwanese General Romanization Test in 2010 Abstract In Grade 1-9 Curriculum, There are two major Taiwanese Romanization systems: Taiwanese General Romanization (referred to as TG) and Taiwanese Minnan Romanization (referred to as TM). This research aims to the implementation of the first TG Test approved by Ministry of Education in 2010. This research’s methods include archive analysis and the questionnaire methods. The main findings are as follows. 1. The interviewees highly appraised the test: the total satisfaction with the pretest workshop is 92.83%; the total satisfaction with the test is 87%. 2. The romanization ability is the key to passing the test: The rate of successful romanization dictation varies dramatically. The score rate of subjects varies from beginner’s 0.23 to professional’s 0.98. 3. 82.22% interviewees claimed that TG is easy to learn and to teach. Only 25.81% think that TM is easy. 79.2% agreed that Taiwanese language test should provide test-takers with both TG version and TM version to choose. 4. Among the three times Taiwanese language tests approved by Ministry of Education in 2010, the Taiwan TM’s scoring rate is67.5%,Kaohsiung TM’s scoring rate is 74.6%, Kaohsiung TG’s scoring rate is 80.8%.TG’s scoring rate is higher than TM’s scoring rate.
