Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育傳播與科技研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of applying digital video in Case method instruction on sixth-grade students’ anti-bullying knowledge, social skills and empathy. There were 67 students from a New Taipei City elementary school participated in this study. In addition, two cases were selected from the experimental group to investigate the instruction effects on behavior of the bully cases. The pretest-posttest nonequivalent-groups design was adopted in the study for the five units classes in ten-week experiments. The results of this research were as following: 1.The instructional design of digital vedio in Case method instruction has integrated the anti-bullying knowledge instruction, social skills training and empathy training according to the design main point. 2.Students in the control group (didactic instruction) significantly enhanced their anti-bullying knowledge, social skills, but not in empathy. Students in the experimental group (digital vedio in Case method instruction) performed significantly improvement on the anti-bullying knowledge, social skills, and empathy. 3.There were no significant differences between these two groups on the anti-bullying knowledge and social skills. Students in the experimental group significantly outperformed on the empathy than the control group. 4.The results of interviewing from two cases indicated that the digital vedio methods instruction can also improve their anti-bullying knowledge. However, there were different effects on the social skills, empathy, and bullying behavior. Based on the results of this research, recommendations for future study were also generated in the study.
