Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 100 === This paper analyzes the arrangement and application of outdoor static symbols at Chia-yi Bo-ai Elementary School in order to delineate how these symbols have influence. By taking this school as a study case, the aim of this paper is to figure out the influence of school symbols within an elementary school. Moreover, this study uses semi-structural interviews, data analysis, and questionnaire survey as research methods. The data acquired from the survey are analyzed with independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, mean and standard deviation. The listed below are the conclusions:
1.Reasons why Bo-ai elementary school set up the outdoor static school
symbols are the promotion of Ministry of Education policies and the opportunity for post-earthquake reconstruction.
2.The outdoor static school symbols at Bo-ai elementary school consists of four
main points of views: vision of the school, ideas of landscape planning, the importance of green and beautification, and the Principal’s concepts.
3.Bo-ai elementary school not only organizes the group for outdoor static school symbols, but also invites people who are related and experts to participate.
4.The outdoor static school symbols of Bo-ai elementary school consists of the
following three categories: “Gratitude and memory”,“Vision and Development” and “Educational Needs”.
5.The difficulty of setting up the outdoor static school symbols occurred to Bo-ai elementary school. Also the tactic, Bo-ai elementary school takes to overcome the difficulty, is mentioned.
6.Having faculty meeting, designing teaching curricula, holding school’s
activities, and publishing school’s issue are the main ways to promote the concepts of the outdoor static school symbols at Bo-ai elementary school.
7.The practices of school’s outdoor static school symbols are chiefly passed by
curricula and school’s activities.
8.Bo-ai elementary school’s outdoor static school symbols have already
influenced the teachers and the students.
9.There are three principles to increase the influence of outdoor static school
symbols:“Cooperating with school vision and education image”,“Holding the education conference”and“Practicing the evaluation”.
10.Suggestions that the influence of symbols would increase are put into three
aspects: plans of the hardware, schemes of curricula and activities, and supplies of teaching materials.
According to the above findings, some suggestions are provided for schools, teachers, and further researches.
