Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 100 === Abstract This study aims to investigate the development situation of principals' charismatic leadership and teachers' job involvement for the elementary school in Taoyuan County; the next is to analyze impact and differences of the variables of teachers' different backgrounds on the relationship between the Principals' charismatic leadership and Teachers' job involvement, as well as to discuss the relevance and prediction between the two. Questionnaire investigation is applied in this study. Subjects were 660 teachers in 47 elementary schools in Taoyuan County filling out the questionnaires made by the researcher. From those collected 660 questionnaires, 607 samples are valid with applicable rate of 96.5%.The data is analyzed in statistics way, inclusive of standard deviation, t-tests, One Way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment correlation, regression model and etc. Main conclusions made up from the research are as the following: 1. Elementary school principals in Taoyuan county use the charismatic leadership well, in which the best performance is 「image management」. 2. Elementary schoo teachers in Taoyuan County enjoy getting involved in teaching, in which the best performance is「job enjoyment」. 3. The differences of teachers' background have different perceptions of the principals' charismatic leadership and teachers' job involvement. (1) The teachers who are male, part-time administrative positions and in remote areas have higher perception of principals charismatic leadership behavior than the others. (2) The teachers who are in remote areas and services more than 25 years have higher perception of job involvement than the others. 4.The principals' charismatic leadership behavior of elementary school in Taoyuan County will help the teachers to enhance the job involvement. 5. The principals' charismatic leadership of elementary school in Taoyuan County can predict how teachers will get involved in teaching, in which 「vision development」did the prediction well.
