ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was on developing a logic gates experimental module for enhancing elementary school students the learning of electric circuits. The module includes a POSITIVE gate, an AND gate, an OR gate, a NOT gate, a NAND gate, a NOR gate, a battery, digital logic gate, a buzzer and a connected module with switch logical gates and multiple serial controller. So far, this experiment has not yet been included in elementary science and technology curriculum. Elementary school students may have a deeper and better understanding of electric circuits and gain preliminary concepts of logic through the logic gates experiments.
The exploration of this study could supply recharged battery with the energy sources that a solar energy board, an electric fan generator and a variable speed generator generated electricity. The recharged battery with the energy sources could be provided a FORWARD gate module, an INVERSIVE gate module, every specific function of electric circuit element combination at output. The processes were light switched into electric energy with solar energy board, kinetic energy into electrical energy with the electrical fan generator and electric energy for energy sources with the variable speed rotation generator. The solar energy board will supply power source with rechargeable battery and achieved the purpose of energy conservation and carbon decrease for our environmental protection.
