In this study, this research sampling 20 picture storybooks taken " good books for everyone-the group of picture books with young children” during 2001-2011. Analyze and categorize the images of girl characters in those picture storybooks from the external visual images to internal temperament to observe through girl’s appearance, clothing, explore actions and words to discover the deeper meanings. The results show that the girl characters almost have dress style clothes, accounted for 72%,to wear red clothes, accounting for 41.6%.Adventurous girls picture books positive, enthusiastic side. To the inherent characteristics of the "girls", "girls masculine" qualities "adventure" Up to 25%Girls feminine qualities to" gentle "and" kind "most are accounted for 30%, the author of the illustrated story books, femininity role played by the girls in the picture storybook or a gentle, kind as majority. The third part is the relationship of the picture story book for children and adults in the home, the children in this study to Lin Mami (2010) summarized vs. multiply human relations as an analytical category, the results show: the father and the girls, or the relationship between the mother and the girls, the majority fall "to the ideals adult learning" category, accounting for 60% and 72%, respectively, show the relationship between the girls and adults of picture books is harmony, mutual support and tolerance. Finally, the study concludes that the results of research and analysis, and suggestions for parents, early childhood educators and picture storybooks author.
