Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 100 === In the thesis, we discuss the simulation performance of the satellite - WiMax communication system in urban terrain. In addition, we investigate the transmission bit error rate and power weighting, and we test a G.729 audio signal, a JPEG2000 X-ray image and a H.264 image data, for the satellite-WiMax communication system, the results can be compared to the transmission bit error rate and noise in a variety of weather conditions, and the effect of channel estimation and power control mechanism. Simulation results show that the lowest transmission bit error rate or the lowest power consumption is achieved under binary phase shift keying, and 1/3 convolution code transmission mode. Moreover, the received G.729 audio signal and JPEG2000 X-ray image are sufficiently clear. Therefore, we conclude that the proposed satellite-WiMax transmission scheme can be adopted for developing effective satellite telemedicine systems in urban terrain.
