Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 教育研究所 === 100 === This research aims to explore junior high school students’ coping strategies and forgiveness attitude when facing conflict situations. Based on questionnaire survey with cluster sampling, there have been 1146 students within 15 junior high schools in Keelung involved in this research. The results show that the students conduct the most approaching coping strategies when facing stealing situations and the most avoiding coping strategies when facing applying situations; furthermore, the highest level of forgiveness is when facing applying situations. The level of forgiveness is lower than median, and negatively low correlated with approaching strategies (r = -.24, p < .001), positively median correlated with avoiding strategies (r = .46, p < .001); and compared with the low forgiveness group, the high forgiveness group shows higher scores of avoiding coping strategies and lower scores of approaching coping strategies. This research can provide junior high school teachers, educational authorities, parents and further researchers to understand junior high school students’ level of forgiveness when facing the conflict situations for promoting the abilities of conducting appropriate coping strategies.
