Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 航運管理學系 === 100 === Electronic supply chain management (e-SCM) diffusion represents a new way to integrate web-based technologies with core business potentially affecting both outside and inside the organization. Hence, successful e-SCM diffusion is considered as one of the most significant information technology innovation in contemporary organizations. Based on the diffusion of innovation theory (DOI), this study uses technological-organizational-environmental framework (TOE framework) to develop a research model to investigate the determinants of e-SCM diffusion. The research model examines the influence of technological context, organizational context, and environmental context on e-SCM diffusion. Data gathered from 140 IS executives in large Taiwanese firms were employed to test the relationships between the research model constructs using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The results reveal that perceived benefits, knowledge management capability, and trading partner influence are important factors shaping e-SCM diffusion. Implications for practice and research are discussed.
