Shield Tunnel thus becomes the most efficient, secure and clean way of boring adopted nowadays to connect both end stations. However, it is not easy for control measurement to reach the High Accuracy Deviation Tolerance that MRT specifications required, especially in the narrow space of working wells on both ends with over 20 meters height different from the ground; more importantly, to avoid boundary dispute with adjacent buildings in the valuable metropolis land. Therefore, the MRT Shield Tunneling measurement is more important but difficult than other civil engineering. The study of this thesis includes analysis of variable existing measurement theories and Shield Tunnel control measurement modes. To increase the measurement accuracy and decrease contrived or equipment deviation, the study takes example of substantial measuring from Taipei MRT Xinyi line sectional contract CR580B, also applies tunnel vacuum analysis software to monitor the vacuum survey results. To the end, the study builds up a Shield Tunnel measurement mode which not only can comply with contract requirements, shorten process time on site, improve measuring efficiency and engineering quality, but also can provide related engineering for reference in future.
