Freire addresses “education is an act of love, and thus an act of courage” his focused on teachers’ critical reflection, that is to say, he concerned about how do people become a progressive teacher? Education as a continued life, teachers need continued goals in their career life. This thesis seeks the image of teacher of Paulo Freire and attempts to rewrite and reinventing his idea on teacher work especially focus on the beginning teacher. Freire’s teacher images can help beginning teacher to understand how to learn and how to teach and especially how to experience the dynamic unity between teaching contents and the process of knowing. The results suggest that beginning teacher may firstly, rethinking their own duty if they really understand it or not. Secondly, open the critical dialogue with student and realize their background. Thirdly, discover the connection between theory and practice.
