Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 教育學系 === 100 === "Ability "is a word which is frequently hang on mouth and educational personnel regard cultivating students all sorts of ability as their primary target。But as being educational main body- student , how do they look on the word "ability " ? Toward them , what is the meaning of ability ? Is it the same as adult’s definition ? How do they look on their own ability, and how these opinions affect their school's lives? What inspiration can educational personnel get from these above–mentioned questions and map out educational praxis which is much more adapted to students’ style。
Therefore , this research focus on secondary school students to describe their perception of ability and find out how they shape these views which affect their school’s lives. We hope that secondary school students can tell their perception of ability in their own voice.
To fulfill the above purposes , classroom observation and semi-structured interview techniques are employed to collect empirical date from students in a public junior high school in Taipei
The major findings are as followings :
1.Content of perception of ability:
(1)Interpretation of the meaning of ability is divided into the basic content and performance
(2)In the process of solving the problems of life, students gradually form their perception of ability
(3)Content of perception of ability is various and multiple
2.Influencial factors of forming the perception of ability
(1)structure of work
(2)interaction of peer
(3)interaction between teachers and students
(4)change of student’s performance
3.The way students look at their self-ability
(1)The way students look at their self-ability can be divided into eight types
(2)The way students look at their self-ability influence their performance in the school
(3)Class difference influence the way students look at their self-ability
