The confrontation between Qhing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng is just like the current relationship between mainland China and Taiwan. Through the negotiation procedure between Qing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng, we know that both of them had an equal position at the negotiation table and the final agreement reached included one consensus, that is, the future interactive mode would imitate that between Korea and Qing Dynasty. Though the negotiation between Qing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng turned out to be a failure, Ming-Cheng developed the sea power based on Taiwan, maintaining properous international trade and local strategic allies and essured Taiwan the core position in Eastern Asia.
