Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 國際事務與全球戰略研究所 === 100 === This article utilized the theory of classical geopolitics and the international political concept of traditional realism as the research approach, through the analysis of the historical changes of the geopolitics in the period of Ming-Cheng, described the future outlook of the geopolitics of the Republic of China. The confrontation between Qhing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng is just like the current relationship between mainland China and Taiwan. Through the negotiation procedure between Qing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng, we know that both of them had an equal position at the negotiation table and the final agreement reached included one consensus, that is, the future interactive mode would imitate that between Korea and Qing Dynasty. Though the negotiation between Qing Dynasty and Ming-Cheng turned out to be a failure, Ming-Cheng developed the sea power based on Taiwan, maintaining properous international trade and local strategic allies and essured Taiwan the core position in Eastern Asia. The development of sea power of Ming-Cheng can serve as a reference for the future development of Taiwan.
