Hence, in order to further explore the relationship between rope-jumping and bone mineral density of calcaneus for female children. Methods: twenty-four senior female students in elementary school were asked to help the implementation of our experiment. Their average age, weight and height were 11.81(0.38) years old, 43.29(5.58) cm and 150.3(8.23) kg, respectively. Firstly, these students were randomly classified into two groups, experimental and control ones, each of which includes twelve girls. Secondly, for the students belong to experimental group, additional twelve-week rope-jumping training was carried out. Moreover, during the period, the twelve students spent fifty minutes one day and three days one week to engage in rope-jumping training. Finally, by using supersonic wave ossein density analyzer, the bone mineral density of the students belong to experimental group were compared with the ones of the students belong to control group. Through SPSS 18.0 of Chinese version, these measured results were analyzed and processed by adopting the method of One-Way ANCOVA. Results:The analyzed results display that the bone mineral density 83.49(1.44) of the students belong to experimental group were higher than those 76.09(1.44) of the students belong to control one. Conclusion:we can conclude that such proposed rope-jumping training is contributive to improve the bone mineral density of calcaneus for female senior students in elementary school.
