At the beginning of this research, 6 experts were invited to the focus group seminar. They discussed the pros and cons of the physical computer classroom (PCC), and gave suggestions for the needs analysis. Adopting “Progressive Model,” the researcher started to build up the VCC. After establishing the prototype, 30 users were invited to test its usability. Then, a survey and interviews were conducted to investigate the difference between VCC and PCC. The results are: (1) As personal computers are popular, the frequency that students visit PCC after the school is decreasing. (2) When building up VCC, one must take users’ needs and simplicity into account. (3) PCC has more limitations which can lead to users’ dissatisfaction. (4) After using VCC, most testers gave positive feedback. (5) The difference between PCC and VCC is significant and most users will accept VCC. (6) VCC on campus deserves users’ expectation. Consequently, educational implications of this study are to develop a new concept of cloud computing and create an innovative learning environment.
