Chapter One explains the motive and purpose of the creation, the range and limitations of the creation study, the method and process of the creation study, and the terms expatiation. Chapter Two is the development and application of reproducing images; it discusses the development of mechanical reproducing images, the reading of reproducing images, the image diverting of pop art, Baudrillard’s Simulation Theory, reappearance and virtual, and presenting relative works. Chapter Three is the idea and practice of creation. It explains the idea and subject matter of creation. The subject matter aspect is limited in “seeing the world through the camera”, “overabundant reproducing images”, and “the deceiving of simulation”; it then explains the creation process and analyzes the creation order and subject matter. It expresses the existence of synthetic images through “technological reveal”, “freehand brushwork and portrait”, “repetitive images”, and “virtual images”; it illustrates the presenting methods. Chapter Four focuses on the creations of three series, “seeing the world through the camera”, “overabundant reproducing images”, and “the deceiving of simulation”. It explains the overall creation ideas of every series and analyzes the creation value; it then analyzes the creation ideas of every work. Through whole and partly enlarged illustration, it analyzes the presenting forms and contents. Chapter Five reviews whether the study purpose is achieved, and the perspective and suggestion of future studies. During the process of research, I acquired some new ideas in creating and breakthrough in expression style.After the creation study of this series and the iii initial study result, the creation of Chinese ink painting is hopefully developed on the topic of contemporary visual experience.
