Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 文化與自然資源學系碩士班 === 100 === The study of infectious diseases used to focus on the infection routes of a certain virus. Few studies investigate the spatial distribution of an infectious disease and the environmental impact factors of its diffusion. Due to high urbanization, once an epidemic of a disease occurs, short diffusion time and fast diffusion speed usually result in ineffective control over the epidemic. This study utilized GIS software to map varicella spatial distribution with the data acquired from C.D.C and analyses the characteristics of varicella spatial distribution with spatial autocorrelation statistics to see the cluster of varicella and the diffusion model of varicella in 2007. Taipei and Kaohsiung metropolitan areas are main clusters of varicella. The diffusion model is a complex of hierarchical diffusion and contagious diffusion. Winter and spring are the seasons for epidemic varicella, each epidemic lasted for 2-3 weeks and then receded. Not only the schools and the youngsters are the main cause of the spread of varicella , but also cram schools and daycare centers are the sources of varicella diffusion.
