In the sensor network is no exception, taking into account the specification compliant and market acceptance, 802.15.4-based ZigBee specification into one for wireless sensing and control standard communication for the R & D companies to follow the directions. ZigBee has low-cost, low power, bi-directional transmission, high reliability and other features. ZigBee excellent self-healing, support a large number of nodes and other fuctions, can cut a striking figure in wireless personal area network. Application areas, including intelligent buildings, security and home automation, industrial and environmental control, and personal medical care and so on. This paper as the starting point for home automation, Its research how to use the ZigBee open global standard Application Profile to the development of personal wireless control network. The MG2455 chip of RadioPulse Inc. is used to development, It containing the enhanced 8-bit 8051MCU for the control center, planning ZigBee stack in the hardware layer (physical layer, media access control layer) between the network and application layer protocol layer, the data transmission of hardware and software system development, through Mesh and Peer-to-Peer of the network architecture design, ZigBee software programming of the system development and application follow the ZigBee HA Profile specification to implement a wireless home automation control network, completion of network data transfer, finally test the packet data transmission system to verify whether the packet sent by the ZigBee Pro 2007's design and specifications.
