Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系早期療育碩士班 === 100 === This study used qualitative research to explore the methods and reasons why parents took part in early intervention hour services, what their expectation was for the children with developmental delayed. In addition, found out the families’ attitudes toward their behavior change and give some further expectations and recommendations. Data was collected through interviewing with ten parents. The results were as followings:
1.Parents recommended by the doctor, therapists, or by the parents who have the same situation, neighbors, friends, the educators.
2.Parents were considered to meet the families’ condition, a compromise with day care services, the reinforcement of inclusion education, family-based and better health insurance treatment services.
3.Most of the hour services only provided a single field course, but also integrated other areas.
4.The Families’ attitudes changed from a passive service to a positive resource seeker. Besides, they tried to expand their living areas and hoped to be accepted by the community. The service effectiveness influences the family support a lot.
5.Parents expected that the curriculum content can accord to the needs of services by hour, the reinforcement of service systems and the variety of service plan.
Finally, suggestions for the researcher, the parents who participated in early intervention services by hour, professional offers, the treatment unit, the social authorities and future studies, based on the results of this research were discussed.
