Research of career women about marital adjustment and relationship of parent and children in two-residence marriage family

碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 諮商與應用心理學系碩士班 === 100 === This study is to understand how married career women handle the issue of marital adjustment and relationship of parent and children in two-residence marriage family and their experiences. The researcher uses semi structured interview to collect data, and invites five married career women in two-residence marriage family to join the study. The five women should be married in five years, be in the two-residence marriage family more than six month, and have a child at least. The researcher transcribes the interview and analyzes the data by using the content-based analysis of discourse. The results of this study are as followings. 1. The background of the five career women in two-residence marriage family：This study participants’ family background direct or indirect influence the view of the career women in two-residence marriage. 2. The experience of marital adjustment of the five career women in two-residence marriage family：The model of interactions, emotional interactions, the marital conflicts and their responses to the marital conflicts which have their influences of five career women in two-residence marriage. 3. The experience of the relationship between parent and children of the five career women in two-residence marriage family：The parent and children’s relationship is important to five career women in two-residence marriage. If the relationship is ok, that is good to the women and their husbands in two-residence marriage. But that is no absolutely connection to the marital adjustment. This study also proposes some suggestions for the couple in the two-residence married family and for the future researches on the same topics.
