It also includes study of some special education service methods, if services are appropriate to students, satisfactions of available related courses, effectiveness of services, and the level of demand to such services. A questionnaire had been designed and applied for this study. Surveyed subjects include teachers in Taichung City who had applied for collaborative team service during the second semester of 2010 and therapists who had been providing services. The auther had sent out 410 copies of the questionnaire for elementary school teachers , and 354 valid copies had been returned timely, 110 copies for special education experts, and 84 valid copies had been returned timely. Collected data was analyzed with statistical skills include frequency distribution, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe’ post hoc multiple comparisons. Some conclusions have been deduced by this study include: 1. The service required with highest ratio in Taichung City was “Speech Therapy”.The expert team applied “Direct Therapy” mainly and teachers and experts cooperate by “multidisciplinary team model” mostly. 2. Objects find the biggest problem they face was “the lack of proved collaborative team service” which makes it difficult to assess and guarantee the effect of the service. They also find there is not enough time to discuss the situations of students of each case. Moreover, it always has not enough time to invite all experts involved to join the IEP initial meeting after the application proved in most cases. 3. Teachers and therapists in Taichung City give low satisfaction rating to the services supplied by the special education expert teams. The questionnaire item “procedures with applying Direct Therapy” has the highest satisfaction rating while “service frequency available” has the lowest. Therapists give highest satisfaction rating to the questionnaire item “Coordination and cooperation of collaborative team” while lowest satisfaction rating to “the number of times available to the service”. 4. Teachers and therapists in Taichung City had high demand for collaborative team service . The most expected service by teachers is “service frequency available”. Therapists find they would ask for “cooperation and support from other involved experts” mostly. 5. Teachers and related experts consider the number of times and periods of services available from the experts are insufficient. They also consider the experts involved in one case usually work independently without cooperating with other experts. Teachers are asking for more related professional information and they feel the advices from therapists are difficult for teachers to apply to daily courses for their students. It is very difficult for teachers to apply for the service. And due to the lack of resource and too much red tape, they feel the procedures make their workload heavier. Furthermore, they find the therapists hired by schools would not plan their schedules according to the expectation of teachers. Suggestions have been made for national educational authorities, administrative unit of schools, regular and special education teachers in this report according to above conclusions and would be helpful to improve the current special education system. Suggestions for further research direction are also available in the report. keywords: collaborative team service, related expert team, service model, elementary school, teachers Jung-Chao Hung 洪榮照 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 177 zh-TW |

The object of this project was to collect and analyze opinions about current collaborative team service of elementary school teachers and special education experts in Taichung City.
Some conclusions have been deduced by this study include:
1. The service required with highest ratio in Taichung City was “Speech Therapy”.The expert team applied “Direct Therapy” mainly and teachers and experts cooperate by “multidisciplinary team model” mostly.
2. Objects find the biggest problem they face was “the lack of proved collaborative team
service” which makes it difficult to assess and guarantee the effect of the service. They
also find there is not enough time to discuss the situations of students of each case.
Moreover, it always has not enough time to invite all experts involved to join the IEP
initial meeting after the application proved in most cases.
3. Teachers and therapists in Taichung City give low satisfaction rating to the services
supplied by the special education expert teams. The questionnaire item “procedures
with applying Direct Therapy” has the highest satisfaction rating while “service
frequency available” has the lowest. Therapists give highest satisfaction rating to the
questionnaire item “Coordination and cooperation of collaborative team” while lowest
satisfaction rating to “the number of times available to the service”.
4. Teachers and therapists in Taichung City had high demand for collaborative team service . The most expected service by teachers is “service frequency available”. Therapists find they would ask for “cooperation and support from other involved experts” mostly.
5. Teachers and related experts consider the number of times and periods of services
available from the experts are insufficient.
