Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 農企業管理系所 === 100 === Importing cheaper wooden furniture from Southeast Asia and China recently has caused threats to Da-si traditional wooden manufactory industry. However, some of the wooden manufactories still gain competitive advantages in the high competitive market. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the key success factors of Da-si traditional wooden manufactory. In the study, the current situations were understood by value chain analysis. Based on the value-added activities, a model of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is derived to extract the key success factors.
After the first-stage expert survey analysis, an evaluation criteria framework including four criteria and 15 sub-criteria was derived. As the results, “timber drying judgment”, “sophisticated engineering”, “fashion”, “creative style”, and “accurate measurement and cutting” are extracted. Finally, strategies of high quality and customization are suggested to gain a competitive advantage and win the competition.
