Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系所 === 100 === The electrical-magnetic driven shock impactor (SI) or ED hammer has been developed and can be applied to produce shock waves for shock testing machines. Two types of ED hammers are considered in this work. First, experimental modal analysis (EMA) is conducted for the SI to calibrate its modal characteristics. The shock response is then measured and analyzed to calibrate the shock effects due to ED hammers. The new type of ED hammer is also experimentally studied to obtain structural modal parameters. The impact response due to the ED hammer for different levels of inputs is then recorded to calibrate the effect of generated shock waves. Finally, the shock table that is the circular type of multi-layer plates is made by attaching four ED hammers at the bottom of table. The shock table can generate impulsive waves by activating ED hammers simultaneously. Either single or continuous shock waves can be generated to emulate the environmental shock effects. The shock table is performed by EMA to calibrate the structural modal characteristics. The shock response over the table is also measured to investigate the shock wave characteristics. The new type of shock test platform that can be easily controlled for different levels of input as well as for either single or continuous impacts is very potential for the new era of shock test machine. This work mainly develops the experimental approaches in studying the ED hammer structure characteristics and calibrating the generated shock wave effects. The new design of shock table by integrating ED hammer is suitable and possible for shock test in practical industry applications.
