The certification records in welding types can be used in 2 pressure vessels welding methods through test process. Pressure vessel plates alloy carbon steel strip (SA516 Gr.70) is used in 2 welding methods, including Flux Cores Arc Welding (FCAW) and Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and three welding conditions are analyzed and compared with four welding test plates in different processes. In this study, four welding conditions include full penetration weld, backing aided weld, argon backing weld, and full penetration weld in manual arc welding. The results of four welding methods are compared with welding quality, according to non-destructive radiographic testing, in order to check the quality of welding. Besides, mechanical properties of welding be ad are tested and certify the strength of welding bead with destruction bending test. The result of this study indicated, that backing aided weld and full penetration in manual arc welding weld are easy to cause the welding bead defects; other 2 test plates can match welding bead quality. In destructive testing, all the test plates can match the test standard and no any cracks are produced. In this study, the welding bead standard can be compared with different welding types. At the same time, the results of four welding test plates are analyzed and the efficiency of pressure vessels manufacturing can be increased.
