Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系所 === 100 === Current popular dynamometers on the market can only perform simple inspections of speed and horsepower. Due to their insufficient functions and high price, they are mainly used for car inspection and difficult to be applied for inspecting motorcycles. In this study, we developed a dynamic measurement system for motorcycle dynamometers to mainly measure the O2, horsepower and torque, as well as the rotation speed and hourly speed to inspect the performance of the motorcycle in motion.
Compared to the functions of current foreign systems, this system has more functions such as O2 monitoring and engine performance inspection to adjust the rotation speed of the motorcycle engine in order to assess the performance and combustion efficiency of the motorcycle, control carbon dioxide emissions to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction effect for environmental protection and establish a complete inspection system for motorcycle conditions.
Finally, the performance tests performed by this system and the foreign systems were mutually validated and evaluated. The horsepower and torque, as well as the rotation speed and hourly speed the measured data were close to the values measured on the road, and the output the horsepower and torque, as well as the rotation speed and the speed of 90km/hr reach the time .The measured maximum of error 0.10(ps)、0.04(kg/10)、0.16(m/s2)、0.24(s). The small an error indicates that the data measured by this system are reliable, and the accuracy and feasibility of our motorcycle dynamometer are ensured.
