The “Corporation Aggregate Ping-Tung County Luik-Tui Institute of Cultural Studies” is one of the Hakka social associations. With lifelong learning time background, they have devoted all their energies and have strived for Hakka culture inheritance. The method of Qualitative Research has been used for the study of this thesis. In view of female volunteers in the institute, to investigate how they have dedicated their painstaking care to the Volunteer-Service-Learning and how their gain from the Volunteer-Service-Learning has affected their life, and further to understand the meaning of existence of the institute in Hakka movements. The research goal of this thesis is to understand the organization, the culture, and the spiritual content of the Corporation Aggregate Ping-Tung County Luik-Tui Institute of Cultural Studies; and to learn the outcome of Hakka culture research since the institute was founded; and to know the Volunteer-Service-Work motivation, the service learning history and the changes. By this study, it has been discovered that the organizational spirit of the Corporation Aggregate Ping-Tung County Luik-Tui Institute of Cultural Studies is to extend Chong-Yuan-Gon’s spirit of guarding Luik-Tui culture; the values of the institute’s work are to reach the goals of investing in human and integrating the cultures, to initiate the learning motivation to actively promote the Hakka culture preservation, to combine and utilize various resources by the sense of mission, to devote themselves to concentrate Luik-Tui people’s solidarity, and so on. The difficulties of running operation for the institute are relatively lack of volunteers and hard personnel training, publication is little interested by population, and Hakka people’s disorientated concepts make them not knowing insufficient effort and lack of solidification. The above difficulties have led the institute to worry about Hakka culture disappearing and running out of time for the literature and history study. They also need to tap new resources and reduce expenses to avoid running operation straitened due to the insufficient striven researching project funds. By the Volunteer-Service-Learning researching achievement, it is found that the female service volunteers in the institute are a group of retiring teachers with ability, accomplishments, aspiration and interest on literature and history study. With diverse concepts and faith, they are brave in facing frustration and predicaments, and with the sense of mission to devote themselves to the Hakka culture work. Their service motivations are in three aspects which are individual, society, and situation. By utilizing the learning types of training, experience, and self-direct observation, they achieve developing their expertise, making friends, and gaining sense of accomplishment, etc., so as to make their life full of significance. This research approves the contribution of the institute to the Luik-Tui region. The institute has been moving forward to its goal of mission statement. Under the difficult operation running, the literature and history work is still of great urgency. Hope there will be more persons with abilities to join the institute, to allow the institute more institutionalized, and to be together to dedicate the mental and physical effort for Luik-Tui Hakka.
