Her works are found not only with the depth of pure literature, but also with the kindness of popular literature. Besides, in her sensitive style of exquisite, truth, and nature, there are still logic reasoning of philosophy thoughts and rational analysis in her works. It is very significant at this century that her works can be enjoyed by lots of readers. Moreover, the beautiful and special light of her novels come from the colorful and rich images in her works. Hence, her novels are such eye-catching works that many readers are enchanted with the delicate web woven by her spectacular images without self-awareness.
The main subjects of this research focus on Zhu Shaolin’s three long novels published from 1996 to 2005. They are "Song of the Sad Coffee shop" published in 1996, "Swallow" published in1999, and "30,000 Feet underground" published in 2005.
The study first presented her background, growing environment, literature cultivation, and creation views in detail. Second, the change and translation of images were stressed. The range and development of the images were also studied in order to judge the image clues in her novels. In the following, the image meaning and the influence were discussed in the research by means of analyzing those images in Zhu Shaolin’s novels. At last, the spectacular beauty from those associated images was presented, too.
According to the views in every chapter, Zhu Shaolin’s image writing characteristics can be summarized from many ways to be rich, changeable, correlative, various, and contrastive. She is able to express her deep thinking and feeling appropriately and display her images achievements creatively. By means of analyzing Zhu Shaolin’s novel images, we can understand that she inherits the tradition of public images and constructs the new creation of private images. At last, the researcher also offered the deficiency in the study and suggested the future research directions in the end.
