碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 福祉科技與服務管理所 === 100 === Taiwan has entered the aging society,older people still continue to rise.The older drivers increase every year and their body functions gradually degrade which directly affects the driving behavior and safety.The purpose of this study was to explore the driving difficulties encountered for the elderly, and to find the acceptance of the current vehicles design using technology acceptance model.In addition,physical aging impacting on the driving intention was also investigated.250 questionnairs were delivered, and 240 questionnaires are collected,return rate was 92%. The results showed that the older people can drive easily and perceive their physical aging could affect the driving attitude.　The perceive usefulness,ease of use,attitude of use and intention of use were positively correlated among them.The results also indicated the car is an important part of their life. How to respond to the function decline of the older people and keep driving is another issue needed to be explored.
