Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 人力與知識管理研究所 === 100 === This research employed data envelopment analysis method to generate the performance evaluation including aggregate efficiency, technical efficiency, scale efficiency, reference set, slack variable analysis, and changes of efficiency by Malmquist Productivity Index for thirty-four academic departments of the studied university, within the period from 2009 to 2010. Five inputs and eight outputs were utilized in this research. The inputs include equipment expense budget, operating expense budget, floor space, and the numbers of professor and administrative personnel for individual department. The outputs include instructional evaluation for professors, professor’s lecture hours, the numbers of graduates, publications in SCI, SSCI, AHCI, EI and TSSCI, the funding amount of the projects including industry-academy cooperation projects issued from National Science Council projects, Ministry of Education and other agencies, professional literatures, the numbers of art contest and exhibition, and the funding amount of professional service projects. Both input-oriented CCR and BCC models were used in this study to generate relative performance evaluation for the individual department and school at the studied university. Additionally, this research further performed data envelopment analysis method to evaluate HR (human resource) strategic index by adopting the mid-term and long-term plan development index of the studied university within the period from 2010 to 2017.The results generated in this research outlined the advantage and the disadvantage of each department and school at the studied university that can offer the administrators of the studied university the information to identify their department performance for further improvement.
